The founder of Pink DIVAS United,Inc Astrid Shover wears many hats in life. Global Real Estate Advisor, Speaker, Author, Wife, Survivor, but the most important hat of all is “Mom”. She has two boys that keep her busy with homeschool, yet she finds time to pour into others who need her help. Astrid is a giver. Her faith in God has allowed her to overcome so much in life and she shares her testimonies freely with others. Astrid’s sole purpose and passion is helping others, especially breast cancer survivors THRIVE in life.
Tony Shover is the loving and caring husband of Astrid Shover, the founder of Pink DIVAS United, Inc. He has been by her side while caring for their two boys. Tony has had to learn how to “love” and “communicate” with the “new” Astrid. He understands what a caregiver and spouse goes through during and after breast cancer. Tony is hoping to shed light and encourage other husbands or partners of DIVAS to never give in to the days that seem overwhelming and to look towards the silver lining.
Syreeta Ali McTier, Ph.D., is a leader, educator, and researcher with over 20 years of experience in education. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Oakwood College (2002), a M.S. in Educational Psychology from Georgia State University (2005), and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University (2019). For the past 15 years, she has served as an elementary school assistant principal. Life changed for Syreeta in November 2017 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was during this time that God blessed Syreeta to complete her Doctor of Philosophy degree. Dr. McTier knows from personal experience that a strong support group is a critical component of treatment and survivorship. Therefore, she is committed to using her skills and experiences to support breast cancer survivors and their families.
Kelly is a top producing realtor in SWFL where she lives with her husband Tony and 3 children Anthony, Giana and Dominic. Kelly was exposed to the world of breast cancer when her mother was diagnosed at the young age of 31, then again at the age of 67 and is a twice survivor. She is an advocate for women getting mammograms early, as she had to start in her 30s, and promotes a healthy physical and mental health lifestyle for everyone.
Belinda Baker is the owner and operator of Salon BKB Hair Loss & Wellness Center. Her expertise is dedicated to helping individuals regain their confidence through revitalized hair growth and wellness. Her work in addressing hair loss issues is a testament to her deep compassion and transformative abilities to boost women’s self-esteem and make a profound difference. Belinda’s extraordinary career and her contributions to the hair care and consulting industries make her an enduring source of inspiration. Belinda believes that by fostering a connection between mind, body, and spirit you can experience a deeper and more profound sense of beauty in all aspects of your life. It’s about recognizing that beauty is not merely skin deep but is woven into the fabric of our existence.
Yajaida Aristhyl, APRN is a nurse practitioner who has been practicing in SWFL over 15 years. Founder and owner of Suncoast Medical Group in Lehigh Acres since 2014 specializing in providing medical care to underserved populations. Her passion is global healthcare and is an advocate for accessible, sustainable and quality medical care focusing on prevention and wellness. She is also a national speaker on health and empowerment.
Dr. Venessa M. Perry is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, author, and thought leader in organizational development and leadership. As the CEO of Health Resources Solutions, she assists organizations in creating long-term, transformational change through a racial equity lens.
Lakysha Laing is a telecommunications leader who is widely recognized for her positivity, mentorship, and advocacy for foster care and DEI. She has triumphed over breast cancer and lymphedema, and now shares her journey with others as a breast cancer survivor. As an advocate for breast cancer causes, she has been featured as a guest speaker for WTKR-CBS, Yurview, the American Cancer Society. She volunteers with the Reach to Recovery program for the American Cancer Society as a trained volunteer available to provide support to newly diagnosed women. Lakysha is also an accomplished author, having written the two-time Reader’s Favorite award-winning short story book “The Strength of Silk – Living a Life of Grace & Gratitude.”
Dr. Valeka Moore is a devoted wife and mother. She is the CEO/ Founder of Brilliant One Unlimited, LLC. & Empowerment Thru Expression, LLC Therapy Center & Mind Spa. She is also a licensed therapist, certified integrative medicine provider, business coach, author and prophetic minister. Affectionately known as Dr. V. and the Transformation Activator, she is passionate about empowering amazing women leaders, to shift from being stuck, confused and frustrated by teaching them strategies to transform their minds, businesses and lives, as they fully embrace and activate the next level of their God given purpose and brilliance!
Celeste Clutter is a spunky and sassy breast cancer survivor! She was diagnosed on her 50th birthday. Her faith in God and the support from her loving husband Michael, allowed her to pull through. She works as a marketing manager for a local marketing company focused on entertainment. Celeste loves being a dog mom to her 3 pups!
Anneka Davis, LMSW is a licensed Psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience in the social service industry. She has always had a passion for working with women and helping them conquer the vast issues that they face on a daily basis. Anneka generally utilizes Solution Focused Therapy to assist women in healing from trauma.
Anneka has mastered the art of teaching women how to shift their mindset and therefore impact how they can transform their own lives through a three step strategy.
